The historic Dharahara tower, a landmark in Nepal's capital of Kathmandu, collapsed during a 7.8 magnitude earthquake. Dharahara, which first opened to the public 10 years ago, had a balcony on the eighth floor where visitors could look out over part of Kathmandu.The nine-story tower was built in 1832. A century later, in 1934, Dharahara was rocked by an even more powerful earthquake .The government has made public sketches of the new Dharahara amidst a programme in the Capital on Monday.
