Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai passed away this evening. Krishnaraj Rai had been in a critical state since the last couple of weeks. It was a rather upsetting episode for entire Bachchan parivaar as Aishwarya’s father Krishnaraj’s health deteriorated day by day. Ash and Abhishek along with Amitabh Bachchan were frequently spotted at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital where he was admitted. A spokesperson had confirmed the news stating, “Yes he (Krishnaraj Rai) has been in hospital for the nearly two weeks. Aishwarya is taking care of him despite her being alone as Abhishek was in New York for work. He just got back. Recently at Aaradhya’s sports day, Aishwarya was seen cheering for the kids and her own daughter too. But simultaneously she was also keeping a tab on her dad’s health.” Another source said, “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been there constantly and managing Aaradhya and her father in hospital. Abhishek Bachchan too is present in the hospital and is being with Aishwarya throughout.”
Unlike every year, this time on Holi the entire Bachchan parivaar was under stress since Ash’s father has passed away. Every year on Holi, there’s a grand celebration and the preparations of Holi begin a week before. But this time, the family obviously did not celebrate the festival keeping the stressful circumstances in mind.
On work front, Amitabh will be seen in Sarkar 3, that will be releasing soon. It is rumoured that Abhishek and Aishwarya will be reuniting onscreen for Anurag Kashyap’s next. Though they haven’t officially confirmed the news yet, they have both liked the script a lot. So we are assuming that the official confirmation will be out soon.
